Beyond a physical practice, yoga is a complete philosophy. Yoga teachings encompass health, daily living, morality, spirituality and more. There are many subsets of yoga which you may be interested in exploring further, such as meditation, pranayama (breathing practices) and mindful living.

Here are some of the books I've found useful over the years, including many which I discovered through my yoga teacher training program. Some are not strictly about yoga but touch on it or cover topics which may be of interest to yogis.
